Oh my Goodness… XBIZ!

I’ve done the WhackMagazine article and my little blurb for Camille’s blog all about our company, and now it’s time for my uncensored thoughts about XBIZ. How many blog posts can I milk out of this? Only time will tell.

First of all, let me just get this right out of the way: it was rad. I love hanging out with porn people because I just feel like I can be myself. I’m lucky in that I have a lot of people in my life who allow me to be myself, but that’s not often the case in a work environment. I can be 100% Sophie pretty much all the time, as brash, outspoken, sexually-charged as I want to be. Life is good. In the case of a big event like XBIZ, though, there’s still the need to be professional and on target about the company, so it’s an interesting balancing act and a very good lesson to learn! No, I don’t write bro-etry, but if I did, I think I could get a book deal of some kind… For reals though, I used to be a poet and I didn’t even know it. Except I did know it and wrote a lot of it at one point. I added a poetry tab, so go check out what I used to be like before I decided to use my writing skills to alert people to the existence of porn on the internet. What to Wear to a Porn Awards Show?

This piece ran in GirlzPorn a few days ago, but it was actually written shortly after New Years. The XBIZ Awards have come and gone (neither The Art of Blowjob nor GirlzPorn won, unfortunately.) but my dress remains the talk of the town… Well, at least in my version of the story. Taking on Kink.com on Crème de la Crème

When you think of kink, you think Kink, and there’s definitely a reason for that. Kink is a gold star porn site through and through and I’m going to sing their praises now so I can get it all out of the way and on to the breakdown of a few of my favorite sites/scenes/stars.
