I love writing for Peeperz because it allows me to explore the breadth of my own sexuality and find the best representations of those interests in porn. There’s a lot of bad porn out there, and it makes my head hurt. I’m kind of a snob about porn, which has only become more evident since I started working for The Art of Blowjob and Pornographic Love. I get to work with the best of the best all day, so I don’t want to watch crap in my personal life. More than that, I think people have the right to watch better porn. Porn is an undeniable aspect of sexuality, whether alone or with partners, and it’s important to be watching things that enhance the experience rather than things that just feel wrong somehow.

It’s not that surprising that my first post was about lesbians, because I loves me some lesbians. I picked three companies that best represented the genre/niche and I’m very proud with my choices. They are the crème de la crème, and that just happens to be the name of my column. Convenient, no?

Crème de la Crème – Lesbian Edition

Oh man, I love lady loving ladies. Most of my early porn watching was focused purely on lesbian stuff, so I’ve become quite a connoisseur over the years. Lesbian porn comes in many flavors, and today I’m going to focus on the more traditional lesbian stuff, this is as opposed to more queer porn.

Even the companies I’m going to be talking about tend to blur the lines between more conventional mainstream lesbian and queerer representations/gender identities, but by and large they’re all pretty femme-focused. Don’t worry your pretty little heads, though. I’ll be sharing the best of the best queer porn in a future column, cause that shit is super hot.

First up, we have Sweetheart Video, which is run by the incredible Nica Noelle. It’s billed as Real Sex, Real Passion, Real Orgasms and I am very inclined to agree. The biggest complaint us woman-enthusiasts have is that a lot of lesbian porn seems fake, phoned in, auto-pilot… Gay for pay, essentially. That is thoroughly not the case with Sweetheart Video. I was first introduced to Nica’s gorgeous take on lesbian sex when Girls Kissing Girls, which my partner and I saw prominently displayed on the cash at our local sex shop. The girls were indeed kissing girls on the cover, and we were intrigued, so we bought it, brought it home and popped it into the DVD player. We were absolutely transfixed.

These women were gorgeous, soft-skinned, realistically portrayed and having some of the most incredible sex I’ve ever witnessed. They took their time at first setting up little scenarios, teasing just as you’d want to be teased, but they certainly amped up to some very powerful orgasms with an impressive array of authentic techniques. This is par for the course with everything I’ve seen from Sweetheart Video. I’m not sure what Nica does, but she picks the perfect performers and fosters the exact right environment for them to achieve their full sexual potential for us all to enjoy.
